I have known Beverley for about five to six years and followed some of her courses, which were educational, spiritual and just what I needed to get further in life. Back in 2004, I first learned of Bev MacLean’s wonderful world of “Animal Communication”. My two abbyssinian cats Makita and Keiko were having dire troubles that had exceeded one year at that time. They had experienced a disturbing fright which the doctors had described as “displaced aggression” and subsequently changed their relationship with each other as it also forever changed the dynamics of our once happy home. Ruth Aerssen in Chatham (who is a wonderful energy practitioner and teacher in her own right) had come to my rescue. Ruth is one of Bev’s students and had been for some time. Ruth did distance work on my unhappy cats and immediately we noticed a huge improvement! After a short time, I realized the effectiveness of these techniques as my cats got continually and steadily better (and as our whole cat loving family did as well) thus I felt compelled to learn them myself. Ruth suggested I attend one of Bev’s courses which, as luck would have it, was being offered soon as Bev was coming to town. Thus the beginnings of the acquisition of my new found – life coping tools. I have to date, taken three of Bev’s courses and have been using her material (what I call my “Magical Recipe Book”) since 2005. I am forever thankful. Animals are wonderful teachers and I am (in hindsight) grateful for my cats’ traumas as it brought me to Bev. I use the material as I need it (almost daily) for my animals and curiously enough for myself and family/clients/ friends and their animals. The results have been amazing! I have become happier, less stressed and more calm as a result of feeling more empowered with being pro-active in dealing with problems and thus making positive changes. My Makita cat passed away last July from a congenital lung disorder, in my arms and without being euthanized, but not before offering to me so much knowledge through my experience with her. She afforded me many situations and conditions where I could help her using Bev’s material and for me to learn. She, by the way was diagnosed with her condition in 2006 at the young age of four. At that time the doctor said there was nothing they could do for her – it was an inoperable condition that she was born with and her death would be soon forthcoming and imminent. All we could do is keep her comfortable and happy which I was very pleased to do using my familiar natural alternative herbs and supplements and lots of energy work! She would get better soon after the energy work and she’d be good for another day or so. We proceeded in this fashion. Well, I’m proud to say she lived for an amazing four more years and died right on her birthday (I’m sure as she planned it) at the age of eight. The doctor was absolutely amazed that she lived so long! Over the years, I learned first hand how important and powerful this energy work was. I have been involved in the natural health field for over 25 years and am well versed in alternatives such as energy work, but for me, having the tools I’ve acquired and being able to hone my skills have been essential and extraordinarily important!
