My Animal Family and I returned home on the day of the solar eclipse August 21st. Quite the powerful day :)!!
My horses loaded and rode on the trailer well for the three hour drive!! My cats did well in their carrier cages in my truck.
Thomas, Takoda and Nitika came to welcome us home. Nitika was happy to see us and yet confirmed that she had a fantastic time over the last couple of weeks with T & T at their place.
The horses joyfully ran around the paddocks and the kitties were glad to have so much more space in their familiar territory.

It is finally happening…my Animal Family and I are going home on Monday provided nothing sparks up over the weekend. The evacuation alert has been rescinded in Williams Lake as they have gotten more of a handle on the fires burning around there. Thomas (one of the ones monitoring my place) and our dogs were out to my place last week and he said that things are still fine. So thankful!! They also took a drive across the river to make sure things were looking calmer and safe for me to come home. We are over the moon excited as you can imagine.
